International Gift Exchange

Beside the previous one, I was participating in international gift exchange. My partner Kirsty was from Australia. That is her blog Little Ditty Designs.
She made a fabric coaster, wristband that I use for my keys and a little thing personalized for my son Andrew. We use it as a carrier for crayons or some other small stuff to take along.

I didn't hear nothing from her since I sent my gift to her, but I really hope she got the album I made.

Handmade gift exchange

I know it is really late, but i had problems with my computer, then with my camera, so finally i do feel like i need to finish that in THIS year, not in the next one.
I participated in handmade gift exchange hosted at Craftaholics Anonymous.
My partner was wonderful JACLYN. Make sure you check out her blog. She is doing some great stuff and selling it and some vintage items in her etsy shop.
That's what I got from her.
Absolutely beautiful birdhouse tassel that looks just gorgeous on our door.

Jingle Bell Candle with twine. Beautiful. You can easily make one of yours with the tutorial at Jaclyn's blog

And the last thing is pink necklace. I love all kinds of jewelry, i probably don't wear it that much as I used to. This is one of my favorite

Thank you Jaclyn! I really love everything!

Here is what I made for her. I know that she loves PINK. So I decided to make an album about LOVE for her and her husband. All PINK! Gosh, it was harder than I thought! It didn't turned out all literally pink, but still. It is a 3 page album for 7 pictures measured 4x6 cm. I know doesn't sound like much. Ha!

Here they are! My Halloween cards.
I would like   all the cards in this post to enter the following challenges:
stamping for the weekend
Double Dutch Challenge #54
the one stop craft challenge
stamp something
moving along with the times
the creative cottage
Ooh La La Creations
really reasonable ribbon's ramblings ( Thanks to Trudy for this one)

I just found this stamp on sale at Michaels and I love it! Such a cutie! haha. I even had to use it FOUR times on each card))) i couldn't help it...

And couple more variations of the same card

This one actually was my first one. I just punced the circles and put the stickers on them.

For the next two cards I used K&Co  Jennifer Yanok collection.
"Treak or treat" stamp was just perfect for such a yummy candy paper)
I just thought that this Halloween is going to be really something... My child is 16 months and already understands what candy is. And like all the children he absolutely loves all the chocolate and other sweet stuff. You should see him begging for a lollipop all day long))) So what I'm thinking is: If he gets all the attention no matter where we go, HE's more likely to get LOTS OF CANDY! And what I'm supposed to do? Hide it from him then?! I can't just let him eat it all)

Going back to the cards, I think the next one is my favorite so far. Very simple, but I really like it. I made this card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge - What's bugging you?. The challenge is to have some kind of a bug in your project - butterfly, bee....whatever. What a halloween card without some creepy creature?! So here it is - my spooky spider. {smile}

So this is it for today. Don't think that all those cards I made on one day. That was at least twoo evenings of work. It's hard to set up the working space all the time and clean it after that because I don't have a stamping room. I used to use the table for that, but as soon as my son is really into everything I don't even dare to leave a piece of paper. one second and it's gone)
Anyway, despite some difficulties I'm really happy to get lost in all the paper, glue dots, get some ink stains on my fingers and just to make a little mess))

Thank you for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day

Comments are always welcome ;)

Oh, hello everyone! it's really been a while since I was here... My life has been so crazy  that I simply didn't have time for crafts, blogger and other stuff. Finally I'm trying to get back on track and do something)))
So I will start with the frame I made for a couple that just got married and moved to the new house. It was a warming party at their house. And just the day before I felt like I HAVE to do something for them to make their new and still pretty much empty house feel like home. I'm sorry for the pictures..Forgot to make them home, so was taking them at the last minute in the car. Hope you will like it as much as they did {smile}

Finally I did that! I finished the mini album I started to do for mommom. I started it a while ago. Made couple pages and put it in a drawer. It just stoped for some reason and I couldn't move on. So now here it is. Already given to her...There's nothing better than watching a person smiling at something I did. That melts my heart.
The already made pages are here
These are the new ones

Everything started from the question to my daughter...
?What's your favourite circus animal?
The answer was shocking

So we went to circus. Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey. It was fantastic! I think it's the first time in my life I saw an elefant. They're just super big and super cute.
There were a little bit of everything...acrobatics, magic show, animals, clowns...lot's of lights and fun.
The only thing is that it's very difficult to go somewhere when you have a 10 month old. Such a small boy, but he can be a handful.
Anyway, i really had wonderful time! It's been lot's of years since i've to the circus.

some quick candy boxes

I really didn't have time with all those things that are going on in my life...So I made just very little candy bags for kids.. Nothing special: just bunnies...

Easter is near

Easter is not only near, it's coming so fast, so I have to be ready somehow. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about Easter (I'm sure it's the first thing that comes to millions of people :) ) - EGG.
So I decided to make egg-celent cards. I used white cardstock, Handmade paper with a pieces of leaves. I just love that paper. It looks very natural and elegant.
First I thought to make cards all the same. But, evidently I have a problem making identical stuff. I just can't do that. Though all the card are made from one sketch, they are still different.
This time I'm participating wit those cards in easter challenge #106  at Cute Card Thursday,
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge

One more thing I did these days is a bunny. Just because I still don't have a sewing machine it is hand sewed... I'm that kind of person who can't wait. If something came to my mind, I just have to do that right away. So here it is... probably a little bit ugly, but still.
I love him. It's a sunny bunny, because it's very bright.
Just couple more things left before Easter: to think about easter dinner, to make easter baskets, paint and decorate eggs, and then to get everything ready. So wish good luck to me.
Thanks for stopping by,
